2 Care Launches Active Forms
2Care was founded in 1929 as the SOS Society to provide shelter for the homeless during the great Depression. The organisation is now a registered charity, providing high quality, specialist, support and care for adults who have experienced mental illness and specialist, person-centred care for older people with high mental and physical support needs. The organisation operates services nationwide.
2Care's Quality Management system meets the requirements of ISO 9001/2000 and the company has used EQMS to standardise its quality procedures and processes and improve communication across all locations since 2005. Earlier in the year 2Care commissioned two sets of Qualsys’s Active Forms to manage staff training and staff appraisals.
The forms have now been launched and have had an immediate impact, transforming the way in which 2Care manages its staff. "Our staff is our most valuable resource and we are delighted with the positive impact of the new Active Forms. We can manage our staff far more proactively ensuring they get the right help at the right time to help them do their jobs to the best of their abilities." said Jason Little, Quality Development Manager at 2Care. So delighted are 2Care, that they are considering the launch of a consultancy service to help other care home operations radically improve services through the use of Active Forms.
